A portion of South Westnedge Avenue in Portage will be closed starting Monday for water main break repairs. The southbound curb lane in the 7600 block, just south of Schuring Road, will be off-limits to traffic beginning at 8 a.m. on Jan. 27.
According to the City of Portage, the lane closure is expected to remain in place through Friday, Jan. 31, as crews work to complete the necessary repairs. Motorists are advised to anticipate delays in the area and plan alternative routes when traveling through South Westnedge Avenue.
