Schuylkill County, PA – Pennsylvania State Police are asking for the public’s help locating two men wanted in connection with an armed robbery and kidnapping investigation that began in late July.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police Troop L–Frackville Station, the incident occurred at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Friday, July 31, 2026.
Investigators allege Jayson Garcia, 42, of East Stroudsburg, and Paul Laurusevage, 40, of Frackville, held a victim at gunpoint before forcing the victim into a maroon Dodge Dakota pickup truck with a bed cover.
Police allege the suspects drove the victim to the Ashland Food Mart on Centre Street in Ashland in an attempt to withdraw money. When the victim’s debit card was locked, investigators say Garcia and Laurusevage allegedly went to the victim’s residence and obtained $3,000.
According to state police, the suspects also allegedly threatened to kill the victim if an additional $5,000 was not paid by 10 a.m. on Aug. 1, 2026.
Investigators later determined the pair had been staying at Country Squire in Schuylkill Haven before checking out on Aug. 1. Their current whereabouts remain unknown.
Arrest warrants have been issued for both men, and police warn they should be considered armed and dangerous.

Information leading to an arrest may be eligible for a cash reward.
The allegations have not been proven in court, and the defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
