Palos Hills, IL – Juveniles Charged in Twin Commercial Burglaries

Palos Hills, IL – Two juvenile offenders were charged with burglary early Tuesday morning following two incidents on 111th Street. 

At approximately 1:35 a.m., Palos Hills Police responded to a burglar alarm in the 8100 block of 111th Street. Officers found a commercial building had been damaged and believed the suspects were still nearby.

According to the Palos Hills Police Department, officers from surrounding agencies joined the search. During their efforts, a second burglar alarm was triggered in the 7300 block of 111th Street. Officers arrived and discovered another commercial building had been burglarized. The juveniles were found hiding in the bushes near the second location and taken into custody.

The suspects were transported to the Palos Hills Police Department, processed, and charged with burglary. The Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office has taken up the case for further prosecution.
