Pendleton, Oregon – Dangerous heat will grip parts of eastern Oregon and southeastern Washington through 9 p.m. Tuesday, with temperatures pushing up to 105°F in cities like Pendleton, Tri-Cities, and Walla Walla.

According to the National Weather Service in Pendleton, a heat advisory remains in effect for the foothills of the Northern Blue Mountains in Oregon and the Lower Columbia Basin in Washington. Monday afternoon is expected to be the hottest period, with highs near or above 100°F in Pendleton and Walla Walla, and slightly cooler—but still oppressive—temps near Dayton and Connell.
