Norman, OK – Residents across southeast Oklahoma woke up to cooler temperatures this Saturday morning as lows dipped into the low 50s overnight. The National Weather Service in Norman reported that the few remaining showers from Friday have cleared out, leaving behind dry and cool conditions for the weekend.
According to the NWS report issued Friday evening, temperatures dropped to 55°F in Woodward, 57°F in Clinton, and 61°F in Oklahoma City. Cities like Stillwater and Ponca City saw temperatures as low as 58°F overnight, with similar cool conditions experienced across the region.
Today’s forecast calls for clear skies and warming temperatures. By afternoon, the region will enjoy highs in the low 80s, providing an excellent opportunity for outdoor activities. The dry weather is expected to continue through the weekend, with overnight lows on Sunday dropping into the 50s again before temperatures rise into the 80s by day.
Looking ahead to the week, Monday and Tuesday will bring sunshine and rising temperatures, with highs reaching the mid-to-upper 80s. The pleasant weather should remain steady throughout the week.
