Union City, OH – A juvenile has died and three others were injured after a golf cart overturned Saturday evening in Darke County.

According to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the 500 block of Converse Road around 8 p.m. Saturday after receiving reports of a crash involving a golf cart. Union City Fire, Union City Rescue and the Union City Police Department also assisted at the scene.

Investigators said four juveniles were traveling in the golf cart on the roadway when the vehicle veered off the right side and overturned. All four occupants were ejected during the crash.

One of the juveniles was flown by CareFlight to Dayton Children’s Hospital, where they later died from their injuries. The other three juveniles were treated at the scene before being released to their families, officials said.

The name of the deceased juvenile has not yet been released, and the crash remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
