Cleveland, Ohio – Winds will remain brisk across northern Ohio and northwest Pennsylvania today as temperatures struggle to break out of the 50s in many areas.

According to the National Weather Service in Cleveland, wind gusts could reach up to 22 mph through Sunday afternoon, with cooler-than-average highs ranging from the mid-50s in Meadville and Erie to the upper 60s near Findlay, Bowling Green, and Toledo. Conditions will stay dry for most, though early morning showers were possible in parts of northwest Pennsylvania.

Cleveland, Akron, and Elyria are expected to top out in the low 60s today, while cities like Mansfield and Marion may reach 66–68°F before cooling again tonight. Persistent winds will make it feel several degrees cooler throughout the day, especially in open areas and near Lake Erie.

Drivers should anticipate minor wind impacts on elevated roads and bridges. Those with outdoor plans or light structures should secure loose items. Cooler air is expected to linger into Monday with similar wind gusts and temperatures holding steady.

Updates from the NWS indicate winds could ease slightly by Monday afternoon, but breezy conditions remain possible into early next week.
