Burlington, VT – Northern Vermont residents can look forward to a much-needed break from the summer heat as cooler temperatures and lower humidity settle in following the departure of Tropical Storm Debby. The National Weather Service in Burlington has predicted a stretch of refreshing weather starting Saturday, providing welcome relief for the region.
According to the forecast, Burlington and surrounding areas will experience a noticeable dip in both temperature and dew point levels over the next several days. Highs are expected to drop into the low 70s, with overnight lows comfortably in the 50s. Dew points will also fall significantly, making the air feel much less humid and more pleasant overall.
This weather pattern is expected to persist through the middle of next week, with the coolest days projected to be Monday and Tuesday, where temperatures may struggle to reach the low 70s in some areas. Towns such as Middlebury, Montpelier, and Rutland are also expected to enjoy this cooler stretch, with similar conditions forecasted across the region.
