Northern Indiana – Temperatures will warm into the 50s by Tuesday and Wednesday, bringing increased chances of rain. A few sprinkles are possible today, but the heaviest rainfall is expected late Tuesday into Wednesday.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS) Northern Indiana, rain totals could reach up to three-quarters of an inch by Wednesday evening. Showers will transition to snow Wednesday night, with less than one inch of accumulation expected by Thursday morning.

Overnight lows will drop into the 30s tonight, with a breezy Wednesday bringing highs in the upper 40s. By Wednesday night, temperatures will dip into the upper 20s, increasing the likelihood of snow.

Winds will pick up midweek, creating breezy conditions through Thursday. Despite the snow chance, major travel disruptions are unlikely. Drivers should remain cautious as wet roads may become slick.
