Fort Worth, TX – Residents in Fort Worth can expect scattered storms to continue pushing south this morning before tapering off by the afternoon. If you’re traveling along I-35 or Highway 75, be prepared for gusty winds and isolated thunderstorms, which may bring small hail and strong gusts.

According to the National Weather Service, Wednesday will see lingering storms in areas like Palestine and Sherman, but conditions will calm by the afternoon, with highs in the low 80s. Thursday through Sunday is forecasted to be seasonably warm, with temperatures reaching the mid-80s across Dallas/Fort Worth, Waco, and Sherman.

As the week progresses, winds will pick up, with gusts reaching up to 30 mph on Friday and Saturday. Although there is a low chance of rain in the far northeast on Friday, most areas will remain dry. With clear skies and warm conditions over the weekend, this is an ideal time for outdoor activities, but caution is advised for those driving during periods of high winds.
