North Dakota Man Dies in Fargo Hit-and-Run; Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward

Fargo, ND – Authorities are searching for a driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run that killed a 60-year-old bicyclist in Fargo on Tuesday night.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 7:57 p.m. on March 12 at the intersection of NP Avenue and 10th Street North. The bicyclist was traveling westbound on NP Avenue when a northbound white SUV struck him and fled the scene.

Emergency responders transported the victim to Sanford Hospital, where he later died from his injuries. Witnesses reported seeing a white SUV with possible front-end and undercarriage damage.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol is asking for the public’s help in identifying the vehicle and driver. Anyone with information is urged to call the NDHP at (800) 472-2121 or (701) 328-9921.

The investigation is ongoing.
