Fort Worth, TX – A heat advisory is in effect for portions of North and Central Texas, including Fort Worth, with heat index values expected to reach up to 107 degrees. The advisory, issued by the National Weather Service, will remain in effect through this evening, urging residents to take necessary precautions to avoid heat-related illnesses.

According to the National Weather Service in Fort Worth, temperatures will soar with afternoon highs ranging from 95 to 102 degrees, but the heat index will make it feel significantly hotter. Residents are advised to stay hydrated, avoid strenuous outdoor activities, and remain in air-conditioned environments as much as possible.

The weather forecast for Fort Worth indicates that the high temperatures will persist throughout the week. Wednesday and Thursday are expected to reach highs of 99 and 101 degrees, respectively. The heat will peak on Friday with temperatures climbing to 103 degrees, before slightly cooling off over the weekend with highs near 99 degrees on Saturday and 98 degrees on Sunday.
