Hastings, NE – Nebraska residents should prepare for widespread rainfall from Monday evening through Tuesday morning, as a cold front brings varied precipitation levels across the state. Rainfall amounts are expected to vary significantly, with areas southeast likely to see over an inch of rain, while northern and western regions near Spalding and Lexington may see little to none.

According to the National Weather Service in Hastings, rain will taper off from southwest to northeast by Tuesday morning. Daytime highs on Tuesday will reach the low 50s to high 50s, while overnight lows will fall into the 30s. By Wednesday, overcast skies will bring another round of rain showers, with highs in the 40s to 50s and lows remaining in the 30s.
