Naperville, IL – A body was found Saturday afternoon in the water at Burlington Park Forest Preserve in Naperville, leading to an ongoing investigation by local authorities.
Naperville police said the discovery was reported around 3 p.m. when a visitor at the park noticed what appeared to be a body in the water. The call prompted a response from the DuPage County Forest Preserve District Police, who took over the investigation. The body was recovered shortly after the report was made.
