Hartselle, AL – Drivers along Interstate 65 in Morgan County experienced police activity and potential slowdowns today after deputies conducted a felony traffic stop involving a stolen vehicle near Mile Marker 330.
According to the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, a BOLO (Be On the Lookout) alert had been issued for a vehicle reported stolen out of Chilton County. Deputies, along with Hartselle Police officers, located the vehicle traveling northbound on I-65 near Mile Marker 328.
Authorities initiated a felony traffic stop shortly after locating the vehicle. The situation came to a stop near Mile Marker 330, where multiple law enforcement units were seen on the shoulder with emergency lights activated.
Officials said the vehicle was successfully recovered at the scene. One individual was taken into custody. No additional details about the suspect have been released, and charges have not yet been publicly confirmed.
