Mokena, IL – Several vehicles were broken into early this morning in the Foxborough Estates and Riivendale areas. The suspects, driving a white SUV, allegedly stole various items from cars before fleeing the scene.

According to the Mokena Police Department, a resident on Maggies Way reported the crime just after 2 a.m. The suspects reportedly used a garage door opener found in a vehicle to gain access to the homeowner’s garage. However, nothing was taken from inside the garage itself. Ring camera footage captured the suspects fleeing the area.

Police attempted to pull over the white SUV near Francis Road, but the suspects sped away, reaching speeds of up to 100 mph. Authorities are now reviewing security footage from the neighborhood as part of their investigation.

The police encourage residents to lock vehicles and remove garage door openers. If you have information, please contact the Will County Sheriff’s Office.
