According to the NWS in St. Louis, the severe weather will likely start after 7 p.m. in northeast Missouri, moving east-southeast through the night. The storms are expected to weaken as they approach the St. Louis area late Tuesday.

The forecast for St. Louis on Monday is partly cloudy with temperatures reaching up to 81°F. Clear skies will dominate the early hours of Tuesday, with temperatures rising to 92°F by the afternoon. By Wednesday, a 40% chance of showers is predicted, with a high of 74°F. Thursday’s forecast includes a 65% chance of rain and a high of 73°F.
