Moss Point, MS – Two suspects have been arrested in connection with an August shooting that left a man dead in Moss Point.
Police responded to a call on August 6 at a home on the 3600 block of Howze Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered the body of 43-year-old Dwan Williams, who had sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
According to the Moss Point Police Department, authorities arrested Lorenzo Patterson Jr., 24, on September 7. He faces charges of accessory after the fact to capital murder and is held at the Jackson County Adult Detention Center.
Ronald Polk Jr., 30, of D’Iberville, was taken into custody by Gulfport Police on September 9. Polk has been charged with capital murder and is currently being transported to Moss Point for booking.
Both suspects remain in custody without bond. The investigation continues, and no additional suspects have been identified at this time.
