According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Memphis, temperatures are expected to climb to the mid-90s by Sunday, with a peak of 99°F anticipated by Tuesday. The heat index values will likely exceed 100°F, making outdoor activities increasingly dangerous.
Friday will see highs reaching 93°F, followed by 94°F on Saturday. By Sunday, temperatures will hit 95°F. The worst of the heat will arrive on Monday and Tuesday, with highs of 97°F and 99°F, respectively.
