According to the National Weather Service in Gaylord, a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 7 p.m. Monday to 10 a.m. Tuesday, depending on the location. The first wave of freezing rain will begin around 7 p.m. in central Northern Lower Michigan, followed by a later onset at 9 p.m. for coastal areas and 11 p.m. for Chippewa and Mackinac Counties. Conditions should improve after 10 a.m. Tuesday, as temperatures rise above freezing.
