Gaylord, MI – Michigan residents will experience widespread snowfall through Sunday, with the heaviest accumulation expected east of I-75.

According to the National Weather Service in Gaylord, light to moderate snow will continue for 36 hours. Eastern Upper Michigan could see 2 to 4 inches, while northwest Lower Michigan is expected to receive 2.5 to 4 inches. Northeast Lower Michigan may get between 1.5 to 3.6 inches.

Snow-covered roads and reduced visibility will create hazardous driving conditions. Increasing winds Saturday night could lead to blowing and drifting snow, worsening road safety. Travelers should prepare for icy surfaces and potential delays.

Despite relatively light snowfall, slick roads will persist throughout the weekend. Residents should exercise caution while driving and monitor local weather updates. For the latest information, visit weather.gov/apx.
