Baltimore, MD – A dense fog advisory is in effect until noon today, significantly reducing visibility and creating hazardous conditions on major Maryland roadways. Commuters should exercise caution, especially along I-95 and the Baltimore Beltway, as fog limits visibility to less than a quarter mile in some areas.

According to the National Weather Service, rain will arrive this afternoon as temperatures reach a high of 53 degrees. Drivers should prepare for wet conditions during the evening commute, with up to a quarter-inch of rainfall expected. Overnight, temperatures will rise to the low 60s as steady rain continues, accompanied by breezy conditions.

Wednesday brings a brief warm-up with highs near 62 degrees, but gusts up to 33 mph are expected as colder air pushes into the region. By Thursday, clear skies and cooler temperatures will settle over the area, with highs in the low 40s.

Residents should remain cautious during foggy conditions and plan ahead for changing weather patterns this week. Keep headlights on low beam and allow extra travel time during dense fog periods.
