Marseilles, IL – A 21-year-old man was arrested for first-degree murder early Saturday morning following the discovery of a deceased 54-year-old male. Marseilles police were dispatched to the 800 block of Opal Street at around 1:30 a.m., where they found the victim unresponsive on the living room floor.
According to Marseilles Police Chief Todd Gordon, the suspect was identified through a thorough investigation. The identity and relationship of the suspect to the victim have not been disclosed.
