According to the National Weather Service Louisville, localized areas could experience heavier rainfall amounts due to slow-moving storms. Sunday sees a 30% chance of scattered showers and storms, primarily affecting southern and eastern Kentucky, with temperatures ranging from 83°F to 88°F.
Monday brings a higher probability of precipitation, with a 50% chance of showers and storms, particularly in the south and east. Temperatures will range from 81°F to 86°F. Tuesday will continue the trend with a 40% chance of scattered afternoon showers and storms and temperatures between 81°F and 86°F.
The forecast for Wednesday indicates a slight break from the rain, with partly cloudy skies and temperatures climbing to 87°F. However, rain chances return on Thursday, with a 40% chance of showers and storms and temperatures between 69°F and 84°F. Friday should see slightly cooler temperatures, ranging from 67°F to 85°F, with partly cloudy skies.
The weekend looks to be warmer and drier, with Saturday reaching 86°F under mostly sunny skies and Sunday climbing to 89°F. Early next week, temperatures will continue to rise, with highs reaching 91°F on Monday and 90°F on Tuesday.
