Louisiana Issues Level II Alert for Missing 9-Year-Old Boy in Bossier City

Bossier City, LA – A 9-year-old boy has been reported missing in Bossier City, prompting a statewide Level II Endangered/Missing Child Advisory from Louisiana State Police.

According to Louisiana State Police, Jonathan Jones was last seen around 5:30 p.m. Friday on East Texas Street in Bossier City. Authorities said he told someone he was headed to visit a friend, but has not been seen since. The advisory was issued Saturday at approximately 12:16 p.m. after local police requested state assistance.

Jonathan is described as a white male with blue eyes and blonde hair. He stands 4 feet 5 inches tall and weighs around 60 pounds. He was last seen wearing khaki shorts, black shoes and a navy blue shirt. Officials believe he may be traveling on a black and blue bicycle in an unknown direction.
