Louisiana Deploys Over 200 State Troopers for Super Bowl Festivities

New Orleans, LA – Louisiana State Police have deployed more than 200 troopers across New Orleans to support security efforts during Super Bowl week, as large crowds and heavy traffic are expected.

According to Louisiana State Police, troopers will be stationed throughout the French Quarter, the Caesars Superdome, and other key locations to assist New Orleans Police in maintaining public safety. Officials urge visitors to follow security guidelines, including avoiding restricted areas, safeguarding personal belongings, and reporting suspicious activity via the “See Something, Send Something” app.

Law enforcement will also conduct impaired driving patrols, warning that DUI arrests will be strictly enforced.
