Lombard, IL – The Lombard Police Department will conduct an indoor training exercise today from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at two vacant homes. These homes are near the intersection of Hammerschmidt and Central Ave. and Stewart Ave. and Edward St. The training is part of the department’s ongoing readiness efforts.
According to a statement from the Village of Lombard, this notice is intended to prevent concerns about the increased police presence. Signs will be posted to notify residents that a training exercise is in progress.
