These homes are near the intersection of Hammerschmidt and Central Ave. and Stewart Ave. and Edward St. The training is part of the department’s ongoing readiness efforts.
According to a statement from the Village of Lombard, this notice is intended to prevent concerns about the increased police presence. Signs will be posted to notify residents that a training exercise is in progress.
