Homer Glen Man Arrested After High-Speed Chase, Crash in Michigan

St. Joe County, Michigan – Adrian Ricardo Martinez, a 19-year-old from Homer Glen, Illinois, faces multiple charges after leading Indiana State Police on a high-speed chase. 

According to police reports it happened Sunday around 11:30 p.m., when Martinez allegedly evaded a trooper’s attempt to stop his white BMW, reportedly traveling at over 100 mph on I-80/90. Speeds reportedly soared to 150 mph at one point. Exiting at a Toll Road, Martinez continued his reckless flight into Michigan, where it culminated in a crash on Kime Rd. St. Joe County deputies found him injured and transported him to Parkview Hospital. 

Once released, troopers took Martinez into custody, transporting him to the LaGrange County Jail, where he was booked on preliminary charges related to the pursuit.
