KANKAKEE COUNTY, IL – County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched Saturday overnight to a local golf course following a disturbing incident.
According to reports it happened sometime around 2 a.m. when a white pickup truck of unidentified make and model was reported to have driven recklessly through the High Point Estates community before making its way onto the High Point Golf Course in Essex itself, causing significant damage to the grounds of the golf course.
No dollar figure has been named and no one has been charged in the incident.
The Sheriff’s Office is appealing to the public for any information that may assist in their investigation. Individuals with relevant details are encouraged to contact them at crimestoppers at 815-93-CRIME.
