Bourbonnais Parkway will welcome its first business as Gas N Wash celebrates its Grand Opening at 5916 N. Convent in Bourbonnais this weekend, starting Friday at 8 am.
Gas N Wash marks the first addition to the $46.3 million dollar project known as the Bourbonnais Parkway which was completed in Fall 2018 after first being conceived by local officials around the turn of the millennium.
The Service Station will feature a variety of eatery options as well, including a Dunkin’, Ta Canijo Taco Truck, and Beggars Pizza.
According to the Economic Alliance of Kankakee County, over 1,400 acres are available on the Bourbonnais Parkway for Industrial TIF, Two Enterprise Zones offer 5-year property tax abatement, sales tax exemptions on building materials, machinery and equipment sales, utility tax exemption and other growth incentives for new development.
The Grand Opening celebration will feature giveaways and raffle prizes on Friday and Saturday to the first 1,000 customers. Gas N Wash is a 24/7 stop with the Car Wash open from 6 am to 10 pm.
