MILFORD – An alleged underage drinking party ended with an accident and several arrests over the weekend.
According to Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police, an anonymous tip came in Saturday of the underage drinking gathering arranged through Snapchat. Deputies recorded a number of arrests at the home of teens who came from as far as 30 miles away.
An investigation into an accident that took place near the home of the alleged party is still ongoing.
It’s the second time in a month a size-able underage drinking party has been discovered in Iroquois County and the second time in as many weeks in Milford. In late July, over 150 people as far as 35 miles away were found at a similar event.
