Pembroke Man went door-to-door after being shot looking for help Saturday

PEMBROKE – A man is not cooperating with police after he went door-to-door knocking on random homes in search of help after being shot over the weekend.

According to Kankakee County Sheriff’s Police, it happened Saturday, somewhere in Pembroke, when the victim was shot in the back.  

He was taken to the hospital for treatment.  No charges have been announced in the case.
