Streator, IL – A gunfire incident on the 1400 block of South Cleveland Avenue on Tuesday led to four arrests and multiple charges. Livingston County Sheriff’s deputies and Streator Police were dispatched at 3:21 p.m. after reports of shots fired in the area.
According to authorities, officers observed several men running into a building upon arrival. A total of 10 individuals were detained as part of the investigation. A firearm was reportedly discharged in a backyard, prompting police to obtain a search warrant for the residence.
The search uncovered controlled substances, leading to the arrests of Ray Keith, Johnathan Morgan, Linda Robertson, and Matthew Scott, all from Streator. Charges included drug possession and outstanding warrants from both Livingston and LaSalle counties.
The Livingston County Detective Section and Streator Police K9 unit assisted with the investigation. Officials emphasized the case remains active, and additional charges may follow.
