Mount Morris, NY – Four Mount Morris residents have been arrested following a Livingston County Drug Task Force investigation into crack cocaine sales within the village.

According to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, officers from the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office and the Mount Morris Police Department executed a search warrant on November 20, 2025. The search resulted in multiple arrests and felony drug charges.

Harry Diaz, 34; Luis Chapman Jr., 35; Anthony Velazquez, 37; and Travis Derrenbacher, 45 — all of Mount Morris — were charged with various counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, including Class B and C felonies. Authorities allege that Diaz, Chapman, and Velazquez had prior felony convictions and were held without bail under the NYS Justice Reform Act. Derrenbacher was released on his own recognizance.

The task force investigation focused on local crack cocaine sales and involved multiple agencies, including the Avon, Caledonia, Geneseo, Dansville, Nunda, and Mount Morris police departments, as well as the Livingston County District Attorney’s Office and the State University Police at Geneseo.

All four suspects are scheduled to appear in Mount Morris Court at a later date.
