Cottage Grove, OR – Authorities are investigating a fatal stabbing early Monday in Cottage Grove. Police responded to the 2900 block of Row River Road after reports of a dispute.
Upon arrival, officers found a man suffering from stab wounds. South Lane Fire quickly arrived but the victim died at the scene from his injuries. Lane County Sheriff’s deputies assisted Cottage Grove police in the response.
According to the Lane County Sheriff’s Office, investigators believe this was an isolated incident. The suspect has not yet been located.
