Deputies found him hiding in the basement, holding a child. They quickly rescued the child and arrested Carcamo-Ortega.
The injured family member suffered minor wounds. Deputies also found a vehicle at the scene with damaged tires, allegedly slashed by Carcamo-Ortega.
