La Porte County, IN Warrants: Five Wanted Suspects Arrested in One Day

La Porte County, IN – The La Porte County Sheriff’s Office says deputies arrested five wanted individuals during a recent proactive warrant enforcement effort aimed at locating fugitives throughout the county.

According to the sheriff’s office, Afternoon Shift deputies have spent the past several months using investigative tools and following up on leads to locate and apprehend wanted subjects across La Porte County. Officials said the latest operation resulted in the arrest of five individuals in a single day.

The sheriff’s office identified those arrested and their preliminary charges as:

  • Joshua J. Edwards – Theft (Level 6 felony, two counts), Criminal Mischief (Class A misdemeanor), Battery (Class B misdemeanor)
  • Sarah G. Brown – Failure to Appear, False Identity Statement (Class A misdemeanor), Probation Violation, Fraud (Class A misdemeanor), Theft (Level 6 felony, two counts)
  • Beth A. Masters – Failure to Appear, Possession of Methamphetamine (Level 6 felony)
  • Jodi Ferrell – Failure to Appear, Resisting Law Enforcement (Level A misdemeanor), Interference with Custody (Class B misdemeanor)
  • De’Andre Grant – Unlawful Transfer of a Handgun (Level 5 felony), Unlawful Possession of a Handgun (Level 4 felony), Criminal Recklessness (Level 5 felony), Criminal Organization Activity (Level 6 felony), Battery (Class A misdemeanor), Disorderly Conduct (Class B misdemeanor)

According to the sheriff’s office, all five individuals remain housed in the La Porte County Jail.
