Knox County, TN – A man was found dead after an early morning shooting in Knox County, authorities said.
According to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a possible break-in and reports of gunfire shortly after 1 a.m. Sunday. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim deceased at the scene.
Investigators believe the incident was isolated and that the individuals involved were acquainted. The Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit is leading the investigation. Officials stated there is no ongoing threat to the public. Further details will be released as they become available.
