West Fargo, ND – A Kenworth cement truck traveling eastbound on Interstate 94 overturned just west of the Sheyenne Street interchange, causing significant traffic delays.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the truck hit a soft asphalt patch, leading the driver to lose control. The vehicle rolled onto its side, blocking the left lane and spreading debris across both lanes. The driver, who was wearing a seat belt, sustained minor injuries and was evaluated on the scene by Sanford Ambulance but was not transported to the hospital.
Traffic was reduced to one lane for about two hours while ND DOT and a tow company cleared the scene and recovered the truck. The crash is still under investigation.
