Danville Man Stabbed in Altercation on N. Oak St; Suspect Arrested

Danville, IL – A Danville man was stabbed in the 700 block of N. Oak St at around 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

According to the Danville Police Department, officers arrived at the scene to find a 50-year-old male with a stab wound following an altercation. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

Police identified the suspect as 38-year-old Tanecha Foster of Danville. Foster was arrested and charged with Aggravated Battery. The investigation remains ongoing, with no further details released at this time.
