Louisville, KY – A chilly start to the week brings scattered snow showers and frigid temperatures to Kentucky, potentially affecting road conditions. Light snow flurries are expected across south-central Kentucky this evening, with temperatures plunging into the teens overnight.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Louisville, snowfall accumulations will be light but could create slick spots on bridges and elevated roadways. Tuesday brings sunny skies but continued cold, with highs in the mid-30s. Drivers are urged to reduce speeds and allow extra travel time.

The rest of the week remains cold, with Wednesday highs climbing to the upper 40s before a sharp dip Thursday into the low 20s. By Friday, temperatures will rebound slightly to the mid-30s.
