Big Grove Township, IL – A Newark man died Sunday evening in a single-vehicle crash on Townhouse Road near its intersection with Roods Road. Authorities identified the victim as 38-year-old Joshua Nobs.
Preliminary findings from the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office indicate that Nobs was driving southeast on Townhouse Road at approximately 7:07 p.m. when his vehicle left the roadway, struck a culvert, and overturned. Nobs, the vehicle’s sole occupant, was transported to a local hospital by Newark Fire Protection District personnel, where he was pronounced deceased.
The Grundy County Coroner’s Office is assisting with the ongoing investigation. No additional details about the crash have been released.
