Kankakee County, IL Election Update: Polling Places Changed Before November Vote

Kankakee, IL – Voters in four Kankakee County precincts will cast their ballots at new polling locations during the upcoming General Election after the county clerk announced several precinct polling place changes.

According to Kankakee County Clerk Dan Hendrickson, the polling location updates affect one precinct in Aroma Park, two precincts in Kankakee, and one precinct in Bourbonnais. The changes will be in place for the General Election on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026.

The updated polling locations are:

  • Aroma Precinct #2: Aroma Park Village Hall, 220 Lowe Road, Aroma Park
  • Kankakee Precinct #3: Trinity United Methodist Church, 936 S. Third Ave., Kankakee
  • Kankakee Precinct #9: House of Prayer Apostolic Church, 1309 E. Court St., Kankakee
  • Bourbonnais Precinct #7: Uplifted Care Grief Center, 3115 N. 1000 W. Road, Bourbonnais

County officials said voters assigned to these precincts will receive new voter identification cards before the November election reflecting their updated polling place.

The clerk’s office encouraged residents to review their polling location before Election Day to ensure they report to the correct voting site.

The office is located in the County Administration Building at 189 E. Court St. in Kankakee and is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
