Joliet Police Arrest Chicago Man in Connection with Triple Murder

Joliet, IL – A 21-year-old Chicago man was arrested in connection with the murder of Everett Cole, which occurred on October 5, 2024. Kendrick Pullen is facing three counts of first-degree murder and one count of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. He is being held at the Will County Adult Detention Facility.

According to the Joliet Police Department, officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 800 block of Wenberg Street at 3:49 p.m. They discovered the 42-year-old victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Cole was transported to Silver Cross Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Pullen was identified as a suspect and arrested after police stopped his vehicle on October 9, 2024. Following questioning, an arrest warrant was issued on October 11, and he was taken into custody. Detectives are still investigating the motive behind the shooting.
