While much of tonight and Saturday morning is expected to be dry with partly cloudy skies, additional chances for showers and storms will arise from Saturday afternoon through Sunday.
According to the US National Weather Service Des Moines, the severe weather potential is low for the weekend. Temperatures will remain slightly below normal for this time of year, with highs in the 70s to lower 80s and lows ranging from the upper 50s to middle 60s.
