Scott County, IA – A crash between a motorcycle and a Ford Fusion south of Donahue on Tuesday evening left one man dead and another driver hospitalized. The accident occurred at approximately 5:13 p.m. near the 24100 block of 115th Avenue.
Scott County Sheriff’s Office Accident Investigation Team responded to the scene. Investigators found a maroon 2018 Ford Fusion, driven by a 75-year-old woman from Donahue, had veered across the center line. The vehicle collided with a white 2020 Harley Davidson motorcycle heading north, driven by a 60-year-old man from Grand Mound.
According to authorities, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the Ford Fusion was transported to the hospital in stable condition. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
