Spokane, WA – Residents of Spokane and the Inland Northwest may soon experience relief from the recent heat wave. Seasonal temperatures and increased chances of rain are expected to arrive by mid-September, according to the U.S. National Weather Service (NWS) in Spokane.
The NWS shared a 6-10 day temperature and precipitation outlook, predicting a shift towards cooler, more seasonal conditions. The Climate Prediction Center suggests the region will experience near-normal temperatures and precipitation from September 12 to 16.
Currently, Spokane remains under mostly clear skies, with high temperatures expected to reach the mid-90s today and the low 90s tomorrow. However, relief is on the horizon as forecasts suggest temperatures will drop into the 70s and 80s by mid-week, with rain potentially arriving by Thursday.
For those feeling the strain of the heat, this weather shift promises to bring much-needed relief.
