Indianapolis, IN – A juvenile and three others were apprehended Wednesday night after a suspect fired at an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) detective’s vehicle during an investigation on the city’s east side.
IMPD reports that around 10 p.m., detectives attempted to serve a warrant near East 10th Street and Rural Street. Shots were fired from the suspect’s vehicle, striking the detective’s unmarked car. SWAT officers quickly apprehended the suspects, recovering four firearms. A juvenile was arrested for possessing a handgun, while others were questioned. No injuries were reported.
