Vermillion County, IN – A person was fatally shot on Monday evening at the Hardee’s/Marathon gas station on State Road 163. Deputies from the Vermillion County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the scene at around 10 p.m. after receiving a report of shots fired.
According to the Vermillion County Sheriff’s Office, officers found one person deceased upon arrival. The identity of the victim has not yet been released, and no further details have been provided regarding potential suspects or motives.
