Indiana: Road Rage Shooting on IU Campus: Suspect with ‘In God We Trust’ License Plate at Large

Indianapolis, IN — A road rage incident erupted Friday night on the IU Indianapolis campus, leading to gunfire but no injuries. The Indiana University Police Department reported that an unknown suspect fired multiple shots at another vehicle near the 1300 block of W. Michigan Street.

According to Indiana University Police, the suspect fled eastbound on 10th Street after the shooting. Witnesses described the suspect’s vehicle as a small black sedan with a broken taillight and an “In God We Trust” license plate.

Thankfully, no one was harmed during the incident. Police have confirmed that the victim is not affiliated with Indiana University, and there is no ongoing threat to the campus community.
